The Story
Twenty years ago, the monsters that looked like us appeared. Monsters that sounded like us, talked like us, and thought like us walked our Earth and used humans to satisfy their hunger. Thankfully, it was soon discovered that these ‘mimics’ had a weakness to light - but light can only reach so far.

The power went out seven hours ago across the Midwest, and darkness is rapidly approaching. Three friends hunker down to wait the night out - but a fourth knocks on their door just as the sun begins to set. As night approaches, Gabriel, Naomi, and Logan must answer a deadly question: Do they leave their friend to die, or do they let a monster in and face their grisly doom?

The Team
Caroline Koonce (Co-Director, Screenwriter), Jeanna Mae Jaurigue (Co-Director, Director of Photography), Michelle Leduc (Producer), and Matthew Koss (Producer) are four creatives at DePaul University who came together and decided to bring this story to life. We’re experienced, driven, and passionate about what we do - and we’re so excited to be sharing this adventure with everyone.
